Femtosecond Laser Fabrication of Silver Microstructures in Nanoporous Glasses

This paper presents the results of studying process laser formation microstructures from silver nanoparticles in nanoporous quartz glasses. Glass samples were impregnated with organometallic molecules Ag(hfac)COD a supercritical carbon dioxide environment. The point and linear was carried out by high-frequency (70 MHz) femtosecond radiation wavelength 525 nm energy pulse up to 1 nJ. It found that occurs due photo- thermal decomposition precursor plasmonic nanoparticles. is shown developed temperatures can exceed melting glass, which leads appearance altered refractive index. A qualitative model explaining individual stages cluster glass volume under impact presented.
